That should be fine. I haven’t had to do it but everywhere I’ve seen says it’s tied to your hardware and it should be fine when you reinstall windows. Though with a dead laptop I’m not sure if you’re able to get a USB with the bootable media.

6·3 months agoDon’t worry, sometimes the bots do that first one and use some future year like 2036 to farm engagement.
My banks can turn it off, but what annoys me about that is the overdraft fee just becomes an insufficient funds fee (in many cases, I’ve obviously not tested most kinds of charges to see) at that point for me, fuck might as well pay what the charge was.
It’s also just a mayor. Sure mayor of NYC but it’s barely influential.
