13 hours agoI had nothing to do this weekend, so I spent a loooooot of time with it. It’s not an overly long game, but repeatability is definitely there. The time limit really isn’t a deal breaker, coming from someone with decision paralysis and an inability to do anything if it’s not the peak efficient way to do it.
The combat is so much fun though… the directional attack and parry system is basically if witcher and KCD had a love child, then that love child grew up into a smoke show who’s making eyes at you from across the bar…
You won’t know what to do in the beginning, but give it a shot and you’ll figure it out.
I got Blood of the Dawnwalker as a gift from a friend, normally I don’t buy day zero games… but I’ll be damned if this one isn’t a lot of fun. Tight combat, decent enough story, world with plenty to do but not a sprawling pain in the ass, all in all well worth it.
