I disagree that the American slave trade somehow prevented Africans from “running from lions”. Since colonialism and the world slave trade happened long before America was a thing. Despite what you may believe, Africa has had cities and kingdoms and crazy amounts of wealth millennia ago. They also invented some medical procedures like the c-section. Colonialism and the slave trade has harmed Africa.

Also, most of Africa don’t have lions lmao.

I think you misunderstood. In some states, you will be paid below minimum wage if you make enough in tips. IIRC there was a story a number of years ago about servers in Tennessee (?) only making $2.15/hr. It was legal because they made enough in tips to cover the other $5.10/hr that the restaurant is supposed to pay. So instead of the tips being extra cash on top of pay, the restaurants were literally having the customers subsidize the majority of their pay.

Yeah, not standard. And I guess if they’re that common where you are then check the wear of the liner. Like another commenter said, they get fucked up pretty quickly. It’s easy to tell if a truck is vanity or not just by looking at the bed. I’ve called people out for driving them. It’s especially humiliating for the guys because I’m a woman.

No, they own the truck for work.

Just check the bed. If there’s a liner, chances are the truck is needed. If it’s clean, it’s a vanity truck.

I own a 350 and am very aware of just how big this truck is. But I do need the pulling power for work related things. I’ve also used it to help people that have broken down.
