I seen people use singletons in C++ for a single function. There was no justifying context either they just didn’t think of putting the function in some namespace.

10·2 months agoAlso every time a techbro tweets something a random number generator may fir- lay you off due to financial decisions.

I guess “git sanasaryan-han-torture” was an overkill sometimes…
I prefer master because it makes me horni.

Programmer Humor@programming.dev•A quick reminder, 2025 update should include AI in the diagram
3·3 months ago“AI” is a general term. Tech companies use “AI” more than chatbot so people can’t talk about it as easily.
You know this and are just acting dumb to stand out with your contrarianism.
Government defunding NIH blood cancer research while building chatbot anime-girlfriend datahouses was in fact a bad thing, stop trying to act quirky and unique.

It doesn’t work the first time but you copy paste from the docs example instead of typing the example and it works now

Programmer Humor@programming.dev•[CSS] So I'm learning CSS now
16·3 months agoI saw those websites with games made only with html+CSS and am really, really motivated to learn webdev now.
The more I learn the less I use google.
Mainly because google is getting worse but still.
I love cloud IDEs. I love being unable to setup anything to my liking. I love using the slowest most inefficient defaults they have for us. I love being unable to code without logging in into a website. I love never learning 90% of the technologies I will be using daily and all the problems that come with it.

4·3 months agoHe also did the recent donating thing right after people started talking about the list in case you thought he actually wanted to do good besides tax-cuts from that donation.
Also like 90% of his donations are to himself no?
You may enjoy the robotics field of programming ngl. Or embedded systems if you still want more coding than engineering.
