I once encountered a system that truncated your submitted password if you logged in through their app, but not through their website. So you would set your password through the website, verify that the login was working (through the website) and then have that same login fail through the app.

Depends on if you get into barefoot style shoes or not.

I barely use GIMP, but years ago I heard about it and gave it a go. It simultaneously opened three or four seemingly random windows and no actual workspace as far as I can tell. I immediately gave up. It wasn’t until recently that I had a reason to try again, and at this point I had forgotten the absurd situation I ran away from the first time. Luckily they’ve made some improvements since then. It’s still a bit obtuse, but I hear a big update is coming soon that might fix some of the UI issues?

I’ve seen a 36 inch 3-color one, but I can’t find the supplier anymore. It’s used for signage. I honestly don’t know why this isn’t a bigger thing for signage.

Anyway, for those who are fed up with the terrible results, use Ecosia. I’ve basically never needed to use anything else and the advertising money goes towards planting trees responsibly to rebuild ecosystems.

They’ve also got much better lifespans, being able to cycle many more times with less capacity loss. As they currently stand, they’re much better choices for stationary storage applications. However, I have seen them implemented in power tools and cars for their discharge rates, but it doesn’t hurt that they will stay healthy for longer.

COVID extremely didn’t end. It’s still here and still fucking people up long term. We all just decided that either 1) we didn’t care or 2) the reduced risk associated with being vaccinated was good enough.
