Selfhosted@lemmy.world•audiobookshelf listen to podcast without downloadingEnglish
161·7 months agoIt’s primarily used for audiobooks. Those need to be stored somewhere.
The podcast feature of Audiobookshelf uses the same structure, so the server downloads the file and the client can then find it and either download it to your local device or stream it from your server. If you don’t want that, I wouldn’t use Audiobookshelf as an intermediary tool. I’d use Pocket Casts, or antennapod or some such.
That reminds me of this Elle Cordova short: https://youtube.com/shorts/ky0YOo7_Y0o

I’ve seen so many companies force Agile without changing the management layer and style. Setting deadlines while demanding that teams work Agile. Insanity!
But at least the rocket has an opulent ball room as per the design spec
The build phase took too much time, you now have 1 day to test all the features and design elements of the rocket, because launch day is tomorrow. Good luck!
Bandcamp isn’t what it used to be, apparently there’s a better service for music now, I’m sorry I can’t recall the name.

I’m confused by your post.
-
theirs is a reaction to someone posting a cartoon as a comment.
-
they give a link to the original. (And before you say that that post had to have been edited to add the link, it would be marked as such, like this one, and it doesn’t show that the post is edited)
-
anyone can see those comments. It’s not limited to just the poster, unless you’re not on Lemmy, but instead are viewing this thread from someplace else in the fediverse, like Mastodon.

Add some redundancy to it.
