31·2 years agoI’ve been using DockSTARTer for years and it does what I need, when I need it.
If the goal is to learn, then go for learning Docker directly.
If the goal is to do it well and quickly, don’t reinvent the wheel.

I didn’t realize Resurgence was a thing until now, so that’s awesome!
Can the ISP offer dedicated IPv4 addresses? We had a similar issue with the new rural fiber provider. I spent hours tinkering and researching only to finally call support.
15 minutes and $2/mo later it’s all taken care of. I have a direct IP and no maintenance nightmare that I have to sacrifice a goat to the printer gods and pray for mercy to make work*

For DISCO “Magic to Make the Sanest Man Go Mad” was fun, if not funny. It’s also the only episode I willingly rewatch as it’s kind of a bottle.

Could is a much better term as it implicitly accepts real world conditions and a lack of total context by couching the affirmation as contingent upon only the discussion (and prior references) at hand.
