But the I thought about using it from scratch and I’m just baffled anyone does. It’s like if CSS was slightly more abbreviated but you couldn’t use classes so every style has to be specified on every component.

Not that hard
My HP Z440 was cheap on eBay and kicks ass. Only weird hitch about it is it won’t boot without some sort of GPU in it so I got a GTX 970 on Facebook for like $20.
